Paragon City has a really unique style to it. The palette is brighter; the streets are more linear. The 'City', in general, has an organized and clean feel, despite being overrun by Skulls and Council and a whole host of other Villain Groups that constantly attack its citizens every day. But we're talking in generalities so, wow gold kaufen yes, I'm going there. Again, we didn't want to simply 'copy' our Heroes assets. We wanted a completely different feel so there would be no comparisons. So a lot LOT LOT of time and effort went into creating completely new assets for the game. You'll notice they're pretty swank. Your computer probably notices, too. The Rogue Isles are grittier, more 'chaotic'. The whole feel of Villains is that THIS is what happens when evil squeezes out good, when a tyrant like Recluse takes over.
What started with Striga became the key model for all zones in CoV. There was a lot of effort made creating an overall story for each zone. Paragon City zones had more of a 'general flavour' at launch than Villains did. This is why when you see us go back and 'makeover' a Heroes' zone, oh it changes. We're not just trying to make it more 'fun', we're trying to give it a purpose, especially if we add missions to the zone.
We plan on having an alpha version of Gleemax with limited functionality up by mid September or October, with a beta version up in October, and to have an all out full version by February 2008. I would say final version, but the reality is that as the online medium grows, so will Gleemax. So there isn't really a final version, but we plan on having the release in February.
So what you get right off the back with Gleemax is a social networking site for gamers. Think of it like a My Space for gamers. So with that you will get the ability to create a profile, write blogs, and search for other players with similar game interests. wow gold Now the cool thing about this is, it's not just for our games, it can be for any game, any publisher. Videos games, table top games, whatever games you like, you can plug in and search for. So let's say I like a very obscure German war game. I can search for other players of the game, by name of the game, and zip code and find others that like that same game. If they find someone that likes the same game, they can message them, start talking to set up games.
Sir Quixotic: Building up new zone from the ground up must be quite intensive. So my question is, what is the process that goes into making a new zone and can you also give us a bit of what you guys did in creating the new Ritki War Zone for I10?
