People have become self-centred: Pardhi

NAGPUR: The city has embarked on a drive to counter theft cases in the city. The drive focuses on improving interaction among neighbours and
sharing of responsibility to prevent housebreaking thefts.

“A housewife was killed and thefts were reported from a bungalow in Gittikhadan. Neighbours were clueless. The victim family hardly had any communication with neighbours. The neighbours too do not have anything good to say about the victim family,” said city police chief Praveen Dixit.

Our Hot Babe Katrina Kaif demanded seven changes of clothes for a single music video. Guess what the Choreographer had planned only three. On Kats request four more were added and the shoot went cool and at last everyone was happy. Great Katrina a person should have an image like you so that no one dares to say " NO ".

Woman moves court against police brutality

NAGPUR: Consider this: a thief fleeing from the police enters your home. The police nab the thief and start bashing him at your home. Seeing the
thief being merciless thrashed — don’t raise any objection — you may be accused of operating in connivance with the thief! A woman from a well-to-do family from Buldhana experienced this and has levelled charged the police of brutality.

Starbus service for rly staff!

NAGPUR: In a major step for employees of Central Railway, Nagpur division, the divisional railway manager (DRM) Ashwani Kumar Kapoor has
initiated a bus service right from the doorsteps of the employees at Ajni Railway colony to the DRM office on Kingsway.

The bus departs from Ajni quarters at 9 am and reaches DRM office at 9.30 am. The best part is that the bus picks up staffers from inside the colony, it then goes via Kamble Chowk, Dhantoli police station, Shani Mandir, railway bridge to reach DRM office. On the return trip, the bus leaves the DRM office at 6 pm.

North, east Nagpur cry out for water

NAGPUR: Despite claims by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s water works department that 527 MLD water is being supplied to the city (as against
a requirement of 540 MLD), residents of east and north Nagpur are facing severe water shortage. Some localities in south Nagpur too are receiving water on alternate days only, and the little water they receive is often contaminated.
