Orphanages at Nagpur are happy to receive marriage application for orphan girls from Grooms of different states where there is sex ratio disparity. Female Feticide in Rajasthan and Gujarat has opened new venues for these girls who can now think of marriage and having a family.
Yashvantrao chavan Pratishthan of Mumbai is organizing Jagar campaign in the city. NCP MP Supriya Sule will be conducting a session to increase awareness among city youngsters about Female Feticide and uneven sex ratio. The rally will be from Traffic Park to Vasant Rao Deshpande Hall.
Sule will be conducting an interactive session with city youngsters and will encourage them towards non selection of sex of fetus.
Nagpur Zilla Parishad has welcomed the move of family to have a girl child. They are awarding the family with Rs 10,000 national certificate which will help the female child when she grows up. They are awarding those families which underwent family planning without having a male child. Families with two children have been selected.
