On commercial front a major processing unit is being set on the outskirts of Gadchiroli town in agreement with Green Bamboo Technologies which is a Hong Kong based company to process forest products into timber which will then be transported to a factory.

Adivasi Bamboo Prakriya Sahakari Sanstha Maryadit supported by Dr Namdeo Rao Usandi is promoting the growth and set of processing unit for bamboo. This will get Gadchiroli bamboo an international market and create more job opportunities for the people living there.
The machine procured in the new unit will process bamboo for making floor tiles, furniture etc.
