IT openings in Nagpur

Why everybody is looking jobs in .NET or JAVA. I am not able to understand when jobs are available in C , C++ why job hunters are not looking towards these langauges.

Just ask yourself like whether really you have enough knowledge to face interview.3. Neglect rumors and find out the truth.4. Think about long term career.5. Do not waste time and money to do courses (which are less demandable) from computer institutes.Even if you want to do courses from institutes ask them first detail syllabus and validate from software industry.

I have done B.Sc(comp) from pune university in 2005 with Distinction Grade.
Currently working with MNC, pune. in testing division.
I have 3+ years of experience in manual(Functional) testing.

Roles & responsibilities taken till date in various projects :
1. Requirements Analysis - Analyze requirements, understand the Change requests and identify discrepancies.
2. Test Planning - Preparation of test plan and requirement traceability Matrix by identifying test cases for each change requests and update on a regular basis.
3. Test Environment - Identify the test environment and configuring the required software for testing the application.
4. Preparation of Test Cases and Cleaning up - Identify scenarios and prepare test cases accordingly. Cleaning up the existing test cases as per the new functionality.
5. Issues and Scope Tracking - Tracking the issues on a timely basis with the onsite coordinators and get them resolved. Maintaining a repository for change request and update the status in CR tracking sheet.
6. Status Reporting - Generating report on a daily basis to track defect status and speed up the process.
7. Defect Prevention and Causal Analysis - Perform causal analysis and find out the common causes of defects as well as preventive action.
8. Quality Document - Prepare all the deliverables as per the process.
9. Preparation of Knowledge Repository document.
10. Preparation of TSR ( Test Summary Report)
