NAGPUR: At first look, one may get the impression that one's vision is blurred, causing him or her to see two of every person. It takes a second look to understand that these are two distinct people, and there are more of these around. This is what people called the 'Judwa Jolt' at the competition for twins organised by Junior Chamber International Orange City at a private hall on North Ambazari Road in the city on Sunday.
From infants barely a few months old to twins who were 59 years of age, the competition was graced by even triplets! And though they were two of a kind, they had individual tales to tell. Most were tales of how confused people couldn't tell them apart.
However, some of the most remarkable of the tales came from Savita and Jyoti, two sisters from Wardha. Both of them were married, and while one of them stays in Nagpur, the other stays in Warud. Though neither of them have twins, their elder sister has a pair.
They also have a nephew and a niece who are twins, not to mention several other close and distant relatives who have twins, making it a really remarkable family! As for their resemblance to each other, they have several anecdotes ready, like the instance when at a wedding of a brother-in-law of one of them, one was mistaken for the other and ended up receiving all the gifts.
