Direct flights from Pune to Hyderabad, Nagpur and Ahmedabad have been launched by Jet Airways, to commence next week from July 15.
The direct flights between Pune and Hyderabad and Ahmedabad will operate daily, whereas the services between Pune and Nagpur are scheduled to operate every day except Saturday.
The routes will be operated by turbo-prop ATR 72-500 aircraft, which are French-made, modern and provide an impressive degree of cabin comfort.
The launch of these flights were announced by Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO of Jet Airways, who explained “With several large Indian and multi-national companies setting up operations in and around Pune, and the resultant growth of the city, there has been a growing demand for greater air connectivity to and from Pune.”
The Pune-Nagpur flight 9W 3423 will depart on a daily basis except Saturdays at 1105 and arrive at 1255, with returning flight 3424 departing Nagpur at 1325 and arriving back in Pune at 1535.
The flight 9W 3425 from Jet Airways between Pune and Ahmedabad will depart at 1610 from Pune, arriving at 1745. Saturdays will operate differently, with the flight departing at 1605 and arriving at 1840.
The returning flight 9W 3426 will leave Ahmedabad at 1815 every day, except on Saturdays, when it will depart at 1910. It will arrive at Pune at 1950, and at 2045 on Saturday evenings.
“With the launch of these direct flights to Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Nagpur, Jet Airways will tap into the passenger demand on these burgeoning sectors, given the enormous growth potential on these routes,” Prock-Schauer added.
