Naxals kill 12 policemen in Nagpur

Nagpur, Feb 1: As many as twelve policemen, including a young police sub-inspector were killed by Naxals in firing in Gadchiroli district today, police said.

According to sources, a police patrol party was attacked at Markegaon under Kurkheda area by a group of Naxalites who were waiting for the cops to appear on the scene.

The naxals opened indiscriminate firing that killed all the 12 policemen on the spot.

Meanwhile, all the bodies have been recovered, police said.
