Youth, sister commit suicide

NAGPUR: Sensation prevailed in Gowari village after two siblings ended life by consuming poison recently. Sources claimed that due to poor financial condition they committed suicide.

Police have identified the deceased as Sharda Giripunje (17) and her brother Mahendra Giripunje (22), both residents Gowari. Sources said Sharda was learning tailoring, while his brother was an insurance agent.

But, they were struggling hard to make both ends meet. Fed up of this Sharda allegedly consumed poison on January 21. Her brother followed suit on January 24. The Mauda police came to know about the incident only on Monday.
