To celebrate Golden Jubilee of Yavatmal Zilla Parishad four days agricultural exhibition named Vasant Agrotech Expo is being organized. The expo will be inaugurated by the hands of sharad Pawar at Police Helipad ground, Yavatmal on 28th January 2013. There are different stalls for seeds, Fertilizers and pesticides. There are also stalls for government and banking sectors. Seminars related to agriculture will be held at the expo. An International level Theme Park and Convention Centre “Gandhi for Tomorrow” based on Gandhian Philosophy is going to be set in Sevagram, Wardha. N Nawin Sona, District Collector said the project will cost Rs 95 crores and will be similar to centres of Nelson Mandela and 16th president of America, Abraham Lincoln. The “Gandhi for Tomorrow” project is important as Sevagram Ashram is into its Platinum Jubilee year. Gandhiji stayed here from 1936 to 1948.

The childrens are suffering a lot because it is quite common to catch a cold due to weather changes. Childrens are also catching Flu. The school timings are same as before and the mornings are colder which is the reason behind increased number of sick childs.

In Nagpur city, the event will be held in all types of courts i.e. district court, all taluka courts, family courts, industrial courts, labour courts, cooperative courts, and all tribunals.

Bishop Cotton School (BCS), Sadar was in news for Vikram Pandit, CEO Citibank who studied from here and achieved one of the topmost rank in an organization. It is one of the oldest schools of Nagpur. It is affiliated to the state board. Parents were crazy to get admission in this school till the 1990’s but now the admission rate has dropped due to craze for CBSE schools in the city. BCS has decided to start CBSE pattern school in the campus.

Nagpur Municipal Corporation is organizing Nagpur Mahotsav from 23rd January to 28th January 2013 at Yashwant Stadium. The main attraction of the festival will be Anandan Sivamani, Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari and Sufi singer Kailash Kher. Arrangements are being made to accommodate an audience strength of 25,000 at the stadium. The timing of all programs is 6 PM to 10 PM except on Republic Day when the program will begin from 6:30 PM and conclude at 12:00 AM midnight.

Tejas S from Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Civil lines, Nagpur has emerged as winner of India’s biggest spelling contest HDFC life Spell Bee. He will now compete with Shreya Kanungo from Somalwar Nikalas School in the semifinals whose education partner is NIE. “HDFC Life Spell Bee India Spells 2013” is the Indian version of highly acclaimed Scripps National Spelling Bee, USA. This spelling contest is being conducted in 35 cities and Nagpur is one of them. Top 16 scorers will compete with each other in the grand finals of HDFC Life Spell Bee to be held in Mumbai in the month of February.

Academicians throughout the country will gather at Gadchiroli Gondwana University to discuss ways of creating livelihood for tribals residing at Gadchiroli. The two day workshop will start from 18th January and conclude on 19th January 2013. The workshop is being conducted with the help of Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission (RGSTC), Government of Maharashtra, Indian Institute of Technology, Powai, and Forest Department.

Nagpur’s youth volunteer club Make a Difference (MAD) is organizing a camp for underprivileged children from 30th January to 1st February 2013. The children will get an opportunity to interact with people from different streams and even media. They will be given vocational training on Jewellery making, candle making and painting.
