Nagpur's Steam locomotive which once ran on Pulgaon-Arvi section, has been brought back to Nagpur railway station. The Heritage steam locomotive was built in 1954 by Nasmyth Wilson & Co Ltd, England. The engine came to service in 1955. This steam locomotive will be placed at the entrance of Nagpur Railway station. Mr. Subodh Jain , General Manager of Central Railway (CR) will be formally inaugurating it.

In this fast paced world i have seen people running after Engineering, Medical,Graduation Colleges and B- Schools but very few people are willing to invest in Finishing School. Now let me define what is a Finishing School ? Finishing School is a place which nurtures your skills and makes you more employable according to the needs of present business scenario. The duration of Course depends on the skills which you want to develop in you. Now the biggest question is do we lack these skills that we need to learn them from a Finishing School ?

Diwakar, Waghmare, A Panwala opens school (Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Dnyanmandir) for slum children in Wardha. The motive behind opening of school is to educate slum children who cannot afford costly education at good schools in the city. Diwakar who runs a pan shop and hardly earns anything beyond Rs 12,000 a month manages expenditure of his home and school which he has opened for slum children of Hinganghat.

“Beyond the Frame” photo exhibition is being carried by 4th Dimension Photographers club at Jawaharlal Darda Art Gallery from 3rd to 5th August 2012. First Dahi Handi celebration for girls is going to be organized at Nagpur by organizer Sanjay Kule, Congress activist on 10th August 2012. This is the first Dahi Handi celebration for girls in the city. Kule has also planned to create awareness about Female Feticide by distributing pamphlets during the program. Kule is going to send letters to B Ed Colleges, LED College, Engineering and Medical Colleges for participation. If none of them turn up the ladies congress activists will take part in the Dahi Handi Celebration on 10th August at Itwari

Statutory body had slammed Nagpur University (NU) Vice-Chancellor Vilas Sapkal and Registrar Mahesh Yenkie for dirty smelling toilets. After used condoms were found in the toilets of Nagpur University campus cleanliness issue has been raised. According to the VC he had no idea of things happening around him. NU Vice Chancellor was enjoying his posh chamber and never took pains to come out of it and check what was going on in the campus.

JCI Nagpur Lady Legend organized training program at Government Hospital, Bhandara for Nurses on 27th July 2012. Heera Waghmare, President of the chapter invited Rashmi Priya, National Trainer JCI India (Founder & Corporate trainer Attitude School) as faculty for the program on "Professional Etiquette and Communication Skills". Pratibha Kadu madam, past Zone Officer was also present at the event. Rashmi Priya trained nurses on the importance of grooming and effective communication. The program was conducted successfully under the Leadership of President, Heera Waghmare.
