“Pranav” Early Intervention Centre for Young Hearing Impaired Children an initiative of Sir Gangadharrao Chitnavis Trust organized its annual day function at Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines, Nagpur.

Ms.Awantika Chitnavis, Trustee welcomed and introduced the Chief Guest Dr.Madan Kapre. Others present were Dr.Gauri Kapre, Dr. B.N.Gupta, Dr.Neena Parekh, Dr.Shobha Daga, Trustees, Mr.Vilas Kale, Mrs.Neeta Kale & Mr.Hirishikesh Dhanwatay, Committee Members, Mrs.Sumithra Subramaiam, Mrs. Meenakshi Sarwatay and Dr.Rao. She thanked the donors who have contributed to the Centre in cash and kind.

Maharashtra's first IIIT to come in Nagpur

Maharashtra's first IIIT to come in Nagpur

Nagpur will host Maharashtra's first Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT). The Institute is schedule to start from next academic year, and is planned to come on a 100 acre land near Kaladongri, off Wardha Road.

According to reports, The Cente will provide financial assitance of Rs 100 crores, where as state will invest Rs 35 crores. Rs 20 crore will be invested by IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). TCS has been roped by state government as a parter.
