Mingling with guests, Shobha Hamilton, who took over as the new President from Rakesh Totla, was in an extremely jovial mood. It was not just her new responsibility that put her under the spotlight. She was also busy receiving compliments for the chic, white pearl necklace that she wore. On being asked about it, she said with a smile, "I got it from Hyderabad quite a few months back. It was a double delight for Anuj Hamilton, as his mommy dearest Shobha took over as President on his 23rd birthday. "It is a special day for me. I happily cancelled my party, but I will surely celebrate in a day or two. Today is dedicated to mom," he enthused.

On asking Mudhoji Bhonsle about the ongoing tussle over the ancestral jewellery auction, he preferred to remain mum over the issue.
