The Department of Library, Sevadal Mahila Mahavidyalaya has organised a UGC sponsored two-day seminar on 'Impact of Technology on Libraries and LIS Profession in India' on March 14 and 15. The seminar has been organised in view of the changing face of libraries with the advent of information technology.
Dr. A. L. Moorthy, Director, DESIDOC, Delhi will be the chief guest for the inaugural function. Dr. S. Seetharama, retired Professor, DRTC, Bangalore will be the guest of honour.
