Bharat Sanchar Bigam Limited consumers are facing connectivity problems. Dead landline and broad band problem. Subscribers complain again and again, some issues are resolved within few days and others takes months to resolve. What is the problem ? BSNL is investing a good sum of money on improving the connectivity then why the end users are suffering. It is the misuse of money at the concerned department who is bestowed with the work. To save small amounts of money they do not use proper equipments for connecting two wires.

We all have heard of solar Eclipse or lunar Eclipse but this is something new called Venus transit. Transit is when mercury or Venus comes between the earth and the sun. Venus transit is when venus will come in between the earth and the sun. This will leave a small shadow on the sun. It will be visible between 5.31am to 10.22am. It is not very prominent like solar eclipse but it is a rare phenomenon which has a pattern of 105.5, 8, 121.5 and 8 years making a basic cycle of 243 years.

Duronto to run daily from Nagpur to Mumbai from end of June 2012

Duronto which used to run thrice a week will be converted into a daily train. It is good news for Nagpurians as there was always a long waiting list in trains like sevagram and Vidarbha. Many people adopted other means of conveyance in the absence of confirmed ticket in trains.

Nagpur will soon be a clean train station where standardized methods will be used for cleaning trains. Water coolers have been installed at the railway stations which has been donated by NGO's. It will be maintained by Railways.

Decision to run Duronto daily will sure bring smiles to all Nagpurians.

MHT-CET results to be declared on 14th June 2012

Results of Maharashtra Health and Technology common Entrance Test i.e MHT-CET 2012 will be declared on 14th June 2012. Once the results are declared then the admission for Medical and Engineering will start. The final merit list will be declared on 25th June 2012.

Nagpur Municipal Corporation preparing for the monsoon

NMC (Nagpur Municipal Corporation) is in the process of cleaning all nullahs to avoid water blockage during the monsoon season. Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal is himself monitoring the work so that all nullahs are cleaned before the onset of monsoons. Food and Drug Association seized 1,500 Kg of Mangoes from Nagpur

FDA (Food and Drug Association) has seized 1,500 Kg of mangoes worth Rs 90,000 from kalamna Market, Nagpur. Previously Mangoes worth Rs 1 Lac were seized and destroyed by FDA officials as Calcium carbide was used to ripen the fruit. The chemical if consumed in large quantity can cause health hazards. The news was highlighted by Nagpurpulse.com team. This is second incidence in which FDA officials have caught traders red handed with mangoes ripened artificially using Calcium Carbide.
