Residents demand traffic signal at Dindayal Nagar Square

Residents of Dindayal Nagar have applied to NMC (Nagpur Municipal Corporation) for installation of traffic signal on the square. According to them the growing traffic on the square has added to their woes and the pedestrians find difficulty crossing the road. The near by residents find difficulty in walking on the road in the evening and on weekends when traffic is maximum.

Anil Deshmukh to Felicitate Kids NGO

A group of 40 School kids came together to form an NGO for doing some philanthropy work for the society. They started funding their work with what ever pocket money they had for the noble cause. On the occasion of World Blood Donor's Day the kids NGO collected 120 bottles of blood.

Anil Deshmukh has promised to help them when ever they are in need and has also decided to felicitate them. Pathologist and owner of Lifeline Blood Bank Dr Harish Warbhe helped the kids organize the blood donation camp. He too praised the work done by kids.

CISFA Art Gallery showcases its work

CISFA art gallery is known for organizing arts events. This time CISFA is concentrating on Alumni work. The month long art exhibitions is giving artist a platform to showcase their work. It is also popularizing their work by connecting art lovers with true artists.

This year the event has a special name 'CISFAINS'. The event has been split into segments titled Pratham, Shashtam and Dwitya. Artists will be displaying Paintings, Graphics and Photographs. These types of exhibitions also helps artists to stay updated with the latest technology and art forms.

Nagpur Amravati intercity held for more than an hour

Nagpur Amravati intercity was held at Khapri railway station for more than an hour. All the other trains will allowed to pass instead of this waiting train. Due to lot of train congestion in the main railway station some trains will run from Ajni railway station to avoid the diamond crossing. The passengers had lots of problems because the train was stopped without any intimation. After some time rumours spread that another train was coming to pick passengers of this train to Ajni Railway station.

Nagpur to have Academy of Science and Innovative Research

Nagpur will have world class Academy of Science and Innovative Research center. This will provide opportunities to the academicians / researchers from all over the country to carry out research in the field of science and technology.

The Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research Bill 2011 was adopted by Parliament in February this year. It will primarily focus on research and imparting training, inter-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary areas not covered by Indian Universities.

Authorized Vegetable market to be set in the city

Traffic congestion due to unauthorized vegetable vendors is a common problem. They are removed by anti-encroachment squad and they come back again. Reason ? They have no place to go and they have no options but to run their shop for a living. Dayashankar Tiwari has proposed to set 25 state-of-art vegetable markets in the city. These markets will have a parking space for vehicles, lavatory, electric supply, vendor platforms and benches. This will stop unauthorized vendors from flocking the road side and causing traffic jam.

Wardha Road to Kanhan bypass Ring road to be opened soon

National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) officials has informed that the almost ready new 80 KM outer ring road from Wardha Road to Kahan will be opened very soon.

The Ring road starts from Wardha Road near Jamtha, then crosses Bhandara road near Pardi and then joins Kanhan.

Oriental Construction, the contractor, had completed the project before schedule. Oriental would now maintain the road and charge a toll to recover its expenses.
