School going children traveling by auto were worst effected. Those commuting by auto daily found it difficult to carry their normal day to day work. Railway passengers at Nagpur Railway station found it difficult to reach home and had to call friends to reach their destination or pay exorbitant prices to auto rickshaw drivers who had not participated in the strike.

According to auto rickshaw union the installation of meters will cause an extra burden of Rs 10,000 which is too high for auto drivers.
