Maharashtra Airport development Company ( MADC ) has been facing investment problems in the MIHAN project since the global recession in the year 2008. MADC is looking for fresh investors in the zone. It has established talks with Infosys, the IT giant to invest in SEZ nagpur. Infosys has shown interest and wants to acquire 100 acres of land in the SEZ on the condition that they are offered a discount in leasing of land.

MADC is charging Rs 60 lac/ acre for leasing of land. Infosys is expecting a lower rate. The IT giant is also in talk with Madhya Pradesh government to invest in the SEZ at Indore. MADC is welcoming manufacturing units in SEZ. They are interested in getting Infosys to Mihan as it will create lots of job and will serve the purpose of Mihan project.
Connectivity of Mihan by rail and road are the top most priority of MADC.
