Demand for power is increasing every year but the reduction in power production in Mahagenco and NTPC plants had forced MSEDCL to curb power supply in the form of load shedding, but due to protest from all quarters it had to stop load shedding and supply regular power. But the regular power supply will come with an extra cost as MSEDCL is bearing extra cost to procure them.
