Traffic police controls traffic during day time but at night situations really gets worse as absence of signal leads to fast driving which can be dangerous. The end result is more of accidents. There are places which have been declared as high traffic zone and thus needs new signal installed but due to the clash between Decofurn and NMC the work is still pending.
There are many signals which need maintenance as the outer cover has broken or the bulb is fused. NMC took a great initiative of replacing old signals with new LED signals which is visible from a distance. But they need to do fast work so that all old signals are replaced with new one. Proper functioning of traffic signal is very important for smooth flow of traffic and to avoid accidents.
There was a lot of work on the VIP roads before the start of the winter session. Hope the same work continues for all the roads and traffic signals too after the end of the winter session.
