Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) will start offline counseling once the AIPMT (All India Premedical Test) results are declared.
1st round of Offline counseling of Pre-Medical/ Dental Test will start from 11th June and 2nd round from 27th July 2012.
Main counseling centre will be in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. Actual candidates should come for counseling. If anyone was caught impersonating actual candidates then they will be subject to legal punishment under IPC (Indian Penal Code).
A documentary film by Nanadan Saxena and his wife Kavita Bahl on Vidarbha farmers wins National award. They have covered the life of Vidarbha farmers who commit suicide. The 3 hours movie shows the reason behind cotton farmers committing suicide. The farmers take loan for purchasing seeds and when they reap the ripe crops and go to sell in the market they get a lesser price for their hard work and labor. This starts their agony as they are unable to pay their loans and lead a normal life. As a result they commit suicide to end their daily sufferings and mental torture.

Rs 20 Lac was allotted to travel expenses in the year 2006 – 2007. The amount increased to Rs 30 Lac/ year in 2007 – 2008 and then to Rs 40 Lac/ year.
