Kille Mahotsav 2016 at Nagpur

50th Kille Mahotsav 2016 was celebrated at Nagpur, Maharashtra. Nagpurians could view different types of forts, placement of soldiers for protection from enemies, the size of the forts etc. It was an artistic work made from clay and dummy human figures. The artists had put lots of hard work in making the clay structure of the Kille artistically so that visitors could have the look and feel of actually visiting the Kille. The fine work on each and every Kille depicted the amount of pains and hard work which had been put in for building each piece.

Small banners showing various places were placed at the different position inside the man-made Kille. Bharat Natyam and other cultural dances were organised by the organisers for entertainment.

By looking at those artistic clay work, you could have a feeling of ancient Raja Maharajas soldier guarding their territory and looking after the wellbeing of their own territory.
