Nagzira Wild Life Sanctuary situated in Gondia has installed solar powered water holes to avoid hassles of filling regular water for drinking purpose of animals. The project was implemented by Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), Pune.
Swine Flu H1N1 virus has again come back in the city. But there is nothing to panic. Four patients with swine flu like symptoms have tested negative. Previously two patients had tested positive. They were admitted in Government Medical College and Hospital. The lab reports obtained from National Institute of Virology, Pune confirmed the negative test of swine flu of the four patients.
There is a special ward at Government Medical College and Hospital for swine flu patients. The health officials are fully armed to fight the disease and nagpurians should not panic.

MSRTC is launching the bus service from Nagpur to Pune and vice verse. The service will start from 8th December 2011. It will charge Rs 1210 per seat and the prices will not increase during heavy rush seasons like Diwali or any other festival.
The bus will leave Nagpur at 7 PM and reach Pune at 8 AM and again leave Pune in the evening. It is very helpful for travelers doing constant up and down for business or studies.

Deepak Kapoor, Managing Director MSRTC has taken a decision to run A/C volvo buses in the Nagpur – Hyderabad route. According to him lots of private players are running in this route and making profit. He stated, starting a bus in this route will be profitable.
MSRTC will also operate in two other new routes from Mumbai to Udaipur, pune to surat and Ahmedabad. It is also planning to start AC buses from Mumbai to Goa from 15th December 2011.
In a noble move by Indian railways to increase connectivity of Nagpur to other cities has lead to the introduction of 3 pairs of train which will pass through Nagpur. These trains will increase connectivity to Hatia, Pune, Porbandar, Gandhidham, Puri & Santragachi.
There is lot of rush in the Nagpur Pune route due to students who constantly move up and down for studies. Thus a bi- weekly train has been introduced in this route.
