State Agriculture Department is organizing “Annual Grain Fair” from 25th May to 27th May 2012 at College of agriculture. The fair will help farmers earn profit because the farmers can directly come in contact with the consumers or buyers of their product thus avoiding the need of any middle men in selling their product. This helps farmers earn good profit which would have lessened if they had dealt with the middle men.

Artificial water holes in Nagzira Wild Life Sanctuary
Nagzira Wild Life Sanctuary situated in Gondia has installed solar powered water holes to avoid hassles of filling regular water for drinking purpose of animals. The project was implemented by Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), Pune.

Tribal Ashramshala teachers on footsteps of Anna Hazare supporters
Over 50 Tribal Ashramshala teachers have gone on hunger strike till their demands were met, at RBI Square, Nagpur. These protesters represented teachers employed at ashramshala in Gadchiroli, Gondia, Bhandara and Chandrapur districts. These teachers were not paid salary since last 3 years. Ashramshalas are places in tribal area which gives food, clothes, shelter and books for school students.
