Training Program at Government Hospital, Bhandara by JCI Nagpur Lady Legend

JCI Nagpur Lady Legend organized training program at Government Hospital, Bhandara for Nurses on 27th July 2012. Heera Waghmare, President of the chapter invited Rashmi Priya, National Trainer JCI India (Founder & Corporate trainer Attitude School) as faculty for the program on “Professional Etiquette and Communication Skills”. Pratibha Kadu madam, past Zone Officer was also present at the event.

Rashmi Priya trained nurses on the importance of grooming and effective communication.

The program was conducted successfully under the Leadership of President, Heera Waghmare.

Gas Authority of India Limited pipeline to pass through Nagpur

GAIL (Gas Authority of India) will set up a pipeline from Surat to Paradip. The pipeline will pass through Nagpur. It will be a big boon for industries located in central India as they will get clean fuel. Apart from Nagpur the pipeline will pass through Wardha, Amravati and Bhandara.

JCI Nagpur Lady Legend in association with Adolescent Guidance center (Maitri Clinic Bhandara) organized program on Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health. The program was organised at Sharda Lawn, Near General Hospital, Bhandara. JC Heera Waghmare, President 2012 and past zone officer JC Pratibha Kadu ji were the pillars behind the program. JC Ashwini Sharma, Zone Director Growth and Development, Zone 9 was also present at the event. The program was organized on 13th march 2012 from 10 AM till 5 PM.

13th Century Hemadpanthi temple found in Roha village, Bhandara

13th century Hemadpanthi temple has been discovered in Roha Village, Bhandara. It is a temple of Yadava dynasty. The temple is in a dilapidated condition. The archaeologists also found idols of Lord Uma Maheshwar, Lord Ganesh, and serpent.

According to archaeologists there are three Hemadpanthi temples in the districts which are in good condition. They are at Korambi, Pinglayee and Gaimukh.

Tribal Ashramshala teachers on footsteps of Anna Hazare supporters

Over 50 Tribal Ashramshala teachers have gone on hunger strike till their demands were met, at RBI Square, Nagpur. These protesters represented teachers employed at ashramshala in Gadchiroli, Gondia, Bhandara and Chandrapur districts. These teachers were not paid salary since last 3 years. Ashramshalas are places in tribal area which gives food, clothes, shelter and books for school students.
