In this fast paced world i have seen people running after Engineering, Medical,Graduation Colleges and B- Schools but very few people are willing to invest in Finishing School. Now let me define what is a Finishing School ? Finishing School is a place which nurtures your skills and makes you more employable according to the needs of present business scenario. The duration of Course depends on the skills which you want to develop in you. Now the biggest question is do we lack these skills that we need to learn them from a Finishing School ?
JCI Nagpur Lady Legend organized training program at Government Hospital, Bhandara for Nurses on 27th July 2012. Heera Waghmare, President of the chapter invited Rashmi Priya, National Trainer JCI India (Founder & Corporate trainer Attitude School) as faculty for the program on “Professional Etiquette and Communication Skills”. Pratibha Kadu madam, past Zone Officer was also present at the event.
Rashmi Priya trained nurses on the importance of grooming and effective communication.
The program was conducted successfully under the Leadership of President, Heera Waghmare.
Soft Skills training is the need of the hour. A lot of money is spent on acquiring hard skills but we over look the soft skills. Students add more and more degrees to their resume but when it comes to qualifying the interview very few gets selected. Whats the reason ? They lack proper communication skills. These candidates are not able to communicate their message to the interviewer hence they get dis qualified. We at Attitude School has addressed this problem at the ground level and have come up with a curriculum to suit the needs of today’s job seeker.
Every day new jobs are created and still we are facing the heat of unemployment. Have we ever thought of why ? Why are candidates not getting employed even after having a long list of degrees in their resume. Is there problem with the educational system ? Candidate ? or the company which is demanding too much ? Have we ever tried to answer these questions. Lets think about the problem and look at it from a different angle. Is the unemployed mass really employable ? If not what are the drawbacks ? We need to answer these questions or else the problem will keep on aggravating.
