Swine Flu panic at Nagpur

Swine Flu H1N1 virus has again come back in the city. But there is nothing to panic. Four patients with swine flu like symptoms have tested negative. Previously two patients had tested positive. They were admitted in Government Medical College and Hospital. The lab reports obtained from National Institute of Virology, Pune confirmed the negative test of swine flu of the four patients.

There is a special ward at Government Medical College and Hospital for swine flu patients. The health officials are fully armed to fight the disease and nagpurians should not panic.

Nagpur Municipal Corporation failed Parking Plan

NMC has failed to sort out parking problems till 2011, though the move to solve the problem was taken in June 2007 by paying crores of rupees to L&T Consulting Engineers Ltd to prepare master plan for transport system of Nagpur City 2031.

Number of vehicles has increased so they need more space for parking. On failure to provide them space, vehicles are seen parked in No Parking zones. Heavily crowded places need parking space so that the roads are not cluttered with unevenly parked vehicles, and the vehicle owner not heavily charged.
