Nagpurians to pay Rs 130/ month for removal of pole in their area says MSEDCL. Supreme court has ordered NMC and MSEDCL to remove all the poles in the city which are not needed by 30th April 2012. The court has asked both NMC and MSEDCL to share the cost equally.
NMC is ready to pay its share but MSEDCL wants to recover some portion of payment from the Consumers.
MSEDCL has said if consumers of particular area are not ready to pay for pole removal then all citizens will have to pay for pole removal by way of increased tariffs.
