Ayush Auto mobiles located at Wardhman Nagar had not paid Octroi worth Rs 89 Lakhs. The additional Municipal commissioner, Vishnupad Bute dismissed the penalty 3 days before retiring. According to officials the staff of the showroom used to bring two wheelers in the city without paying Octroi. 2148 vehicles were brought in the city for which Ayush Automobiles was entitled to pay Rs 89 Lakh.

The octroi department was shocked when Vishnupad Bute dismissed the case. Investigations are on and truth will come to the forefront. But the problem is Nagpur Municipal Corporation may not be able to achieve octroi revenue target in the year 2011 – 2012
