Nagpurians are facing vehicle parking space crunch especially those living in old Nagpur and in crowded places. As a result they park their vehicles outside their house or building but after the remark of Home minister RR Patil to penalize owners who park their vehicles on road has led to lots of disagreement in the general public.

As a result they park their vehicles outside their house or building but after the remark of Home minister RR Patil to penalize owners who park their vehicles on road has led to lots of disagreement in the general public.
Old Flat schemes do not have enough parking space so they are forced to park their vehicles on the road. Every home has one or more vehicles so this leads to space crunch and hence road parking’s. Most of the colonies have less space to accommodate vehicles of all flat owners so the left ones are forced to park their vehicles on the road. Crowded places like sitabuldi or sadar where there is no or very less parking space at home, it gets difficult to accommodate all vehicles inside home. Nagpurians are very unhappy with RR Patil decision.
They want the home minister to give a solution to the problem and not aggravate the problem by penalizing vehicle owners. They want NMC to allocate them with a parking space somewhere near their home and charge them monthly rents and also give security to vehicles to end their problem.
