The government never released funds on time, which was the reason behind delayed work of IGGMC. Work was slowed due to lack of money.

The IGGMC dean, Dr P T Wakode proposes a new administrative block, quarters for doctors and class III employees. He also wants to dismantle old structures which are in dilapidated stage and construct new buildings with more facilities.
