After 14 years the four lane ROB ( Railway Over Bridge ) located at Butibori is opened for traffic. Two lanes were completed and opened earlier. Work on rest of the two lanes was completed this month by NHAI ( National Highway Authority of India ). The project is 7 months late as the deadline for completion was January 2011.

The passengers can now have a sigh of relief with the construction of the bridge as there was lots of traffic jam and accidents in the absence of bridge. With four lane ROB traffic will move fast and accidents will be prevented. The ROB will benefit 50,000 passenger car units daily ( PCU).
It is a good sign that the four lane bridge is completed. There are other railway over bridges like Ram Jhula, Narendra Nagar, Mangalwari ROB which are yet to be completed and are causing lots of inconvenience to the moving traffic. Hope other projects are also completed by the government.
