Indian Air Force celebrates 79th aniversary

Indian Air Force celebrated its 79th aniversary in Nagpur at Maintenance Command. This celebration lasted almost a week and came to end on Saturday.

Air Marshal Jagdish Chandra AVSM VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command presided over the ceremony and wished all Air Force personnel and their families the very best on the occasion of Air Force Day.

Air Marshal Jagdish Chandra AVSM VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command and Sharmila Chandra, President AFWWA (Regional) hosted a reception at Air Command House for Civil and Military dignitaries on Friday.

The evening was very nostalgic for people and its also gave them an opportunity to feel proud for the service they provide to the nation.
