Kids make Eco friendly Ganesha Idols in CMCA contest

Sir Gangadharrao Chitnavis Trust has organized an Eco friendly Ganesha idol making competition under it’s project CMCA (Children’s Movement for Civic Awareness) for 7th students from 14 Schools participated in the contest enthusiastically.

Mr. Tarul Vikamshi, Ms. Sangeeta Parekh and Ms. Sangeeta Kumar were the judges for the competition.

Mst. Prathamesh Bhowte of Bharti Krishna Vidya Vihar won the first prize while Ms. Shreya Dangarwar of Mount Carmel Girls’ High School received the second and Mst. Vedit Jayaswal of Centre Point School, Katol Road bagged the third prize.

Three consolation prize winners were Mst. Adarsh Bhigade of CDS School, Katol Road; Ms. Mitali Kaswa of St. Joseph’s Convent School and Ms. Harsha Jatale of St. Ursula Girls’ High School.

The special innovation prizes were given to Ninad Dahake and Ms. Vidhi Bhabra of Modern School, Koradi Road; Ms. Ayushi Umalkar of Mount Carmel Girls’ High School and Mst. Vivek Poddar of CDS School.

Prizes were handed over to winners by judges and Ms. Neeta Kale, Trustee, Chitnavis Trust and Ms. Deepa Kale, Director, Jaika Insurance. Ms. Vinita Maheshwari, CMCA volunteer conducted the program while Ms. Riya Kahnoriya proposed vote of thanks.

The event was supported by Purti Udyog Samuh, Ms. Vinita Kabra, Ms. Shefali Shah, Ms. Vinita Maheshwari, Ms. Pallavi Upganlawar, Ms. Urvi Suri, Crossword and Ms. Reena Gulati.

All CMCA volunteers and CMCA alumni of Modern School and Centre Point School worked for the success of the program. & 8th std. kids at Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines, Nagpur. Total 91
