The centre will be inaugurated on 10th May 2012 and working will start from 14th May onwards. Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) with Launch the centre and even operate it. The centre will be opened at Bilquis Plaza, Sadiqabad, Mankapur, on Koradi road.

Applicants can check the status of their application on the website – http://passportindia.gov.in . They can even call at the Call Centre Number – 1800-258-1800 and get updated about their passport status.
The applicants have to first log on to the website and then create a user name and password. Then they will have to fill the form online or download the e-form , fill details and again upload it. They will be allocated a particular date and they have to visit the centre on the allocated date along with all details. Their thumb impression will be taken and the applicant needs to sign papers. The photograph will be taken by them at the centre. Applicants from all 17 districts in the jurisdiction of Passport Office, Nagpur can avail the services along with the residents of Nagpur city. All verification will be done at the Mankapur centre and then forwarded to the passport office at seminary hills for completion.
