The SSC results which were declared yesterday on 13th June 2012 brought smiles to thousands of candidates who had been eagerly waiting for exam results. It was like the farmers waiting for the harvest after a good sowing. Few students share their success stories on how they managed to pass SSC with flying colors in-spite of all odds and hell lot of problems. These students really inspired me so i could not hold myself from writing about them and telling the whole world “See the spirit of the young mind. They can dream and achieve the impossible”

Shweta Gedam who scored 87.45 % studied in Nagpur Municipal Corporation School. They stay in two room house at Ayodhya Nagar. One of the rooms serves as a kitchen and the other as bedroom. She has one sister and brother studying in First year and HSC so she decided to study on the home terrace. She used to study under street light up to 1 AM at night. She worked against all odds and made the situation favorable for her. Inspite of having a complaining attitude she studied hard and now scored good marks.
Bhakti Ghatole from Mount Carmel School (AJNI Branch) did not lose her goal and long term vision even after losing one of her eyesight as an infant when she was down with cancer. She lost vision of another eye at the age of 14 but she never lost her heart. A time when children play and do not think about their future, Bhakti took to studying hard. She used Java software to read all the study materials. Her tutor helped her cope up with studies. There were minor problems like power failure and stress but she coped with it. Hats off to the spirit of this girl. When a person loses his vision he also loses his heart and gets depressed and feels miserable but this girl worked out against all odds and won. She wants to become an IAS officer.
Chetan Shinde scored 85 % in his board exams. He was diagnosed with Meningitis and a few clots in his brain in 2010. After operation he was very weak and could not appear for SSC exams in the year 2011 but this boy showed courage and worked hard for 2012 SSC exams in-spite of his weak health. The school principal made arrangements for a writer and this boy passed the exam with flying colors. His parents say he really worked hard and inspite of his weak health never lost hope and they had to interfere at times and tell him not to study so hard as it may cause stress to him. But see the real spirits of this boy that he made his dreams true inspite of all unfavorable circumstances. Nothing can stop you if you are determined. The whole world gets at your doorstep to help you if you are determined to achieve your goal. You need to be committed till you achieve your dreams.
Next story is about a girl named Sayali Behre which brought tears to my eyes. Sayali Behre is having speaking and hearing impairment and she started facing serious problems with her vision but this has not impaired the goals of SSC pass out girl. Inspite of all odds she passed standard X with 70 % marks. Her mother was a source of big support to her. The girl really showed great spirits.
We people complain about day to day life, every single problem that crops up, fight over petty things and some even commit suicide due to tension, should learn from these high spirited SSC passed students. How they made it to their goals in-spite of all odds and are still struggling to achieve their dreams and not complaining to anyone for anything but adjusting to the fast paced life like any other human being.
Let us all live our life in high spirits and stop complaining and start living.
