Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced plans to develop many cities of Maharashtra state into Smart City.
Smart City is a self-sustaining city that offers competitive environment for businesses, working professionals, 24×7 electricity, sanitation, and good quality of life. In other words, a city that offers everything to professionals – they will never need to migrate to other cities or states. Smart City will also have world class Social infrastructure, physical infrastructure, economical infrastructure along with Institutional infrastructure.

Maharashtra’s first smarty city will be “Naina” near Navi Mumbai.
Maharashtra State Government have decided to deveolop 10 smart cities including Amravati, Nagpur, Nashik, Pune, Aurangabad.
