Spanco to open one centre to cater to all Consumer needs at Nagpur

Spanco has set up a consumer centre at Wardhaman Nagar which will cater to all problems of consumers. Consumers will not need to visit different offices for different work but they can come to one centre and get solution to all their problems. The centre will be functional in 10 days time. This office will look after all services like billing, breakdown and metering complaints, bill payment, new service connections, increase in connected load, etc.

The centre will have proper seating arrangement and different desk for different complaints. The place will be centrally air conditioned with good ambiance. The company has trained staff to look into consumers complaint. Spanco Vice President Kaustubh Dhavse said that they are planning to install automatic cash collection machine so that consumers can pay electricity bill round the clock.

Spanco was using IT (Information Technology) for tracking breakdown. It was also checking the time spent for breakdown. If it was taking much more than usual time then SMS was sent to concerned officials to look in to the matter.
