JCI NAGPUR–GONDWANA hosted NATIONAL EVENT- “PRESIDENTIAL ACADEMY-2012”
JCI Nagpur Gondwana, a seven star Chapter held a mega National event of Presidential Academy – 2012 on 3rd& 4th March, 2012 at Chokar-Dhani Resort , Amravati Road, Nagpur. During the program about 120 Chapter Presidents came from the various States viz. Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Gujarat, attended the training on Leadership for development of Individual & Community at large.
High Court of Madhya Pradesh has declined request of Defence Research and Development Organization’s (DRDO) at Nagpur to dispose of toxic waste left by Bhopal Gas Tragedy, 1984. The court is still waiting for report of sample of left out toxic waste to be burnt in laboratory.
Maharashtra Airport development Company ( MADC ) has been facing investment problems in the MIHAN project since the global recession in the year 2008. MADC is looking for fresh investors in the zone. It has established talks with Infosys, the IT giant to invest in SEZ nagpur. Infosys has shown interest and wants to acquire 100 acres of land in the SEZ on the condition that they are offered a discount in leasing of land.
