Morning flights to Mum, Delhi soon

NAGPUR: After seeing only bad news for the last few months, at last there is something to cheer for Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur. Low cost airlines JetLite and Indigo have proposed to start early morning and late evening direct flights to Mumbai and Delhi, and regular flights to Pune and Hyderabad soon.

More coaches for Duronto, Garib Rath

NAGPUR: The Central Railway has added five more coaches to the Nagpur-Mumbai-Nagpur Duronto Express from August 15.

Y Singh, public relations officer, Central Railway, said there would 2 additional AC II and AC III coaches each and 1 AC first class coach.

GARIB RATH: There is good news for passengers travelling to Pune. The Central Railway has decided to increase the coaches in 2113-2114 Nagpur-Pune-Nagpur Garib Rath from August 15.

In the Garib Rath, there will be two more AC-III coaches. The train will now have 17 coaches.

Howrah-Shirdi train via city in new railway time table

NAGPUR: With new railway timetable coming into force across Indian Railway from Thursday, Nagpur Division of Central Railway has also affected a minor changes. A new weekly train is being introduced between Howrah and Shirdi thus giving city a direct connection to pilgrim centre.

60 more Starbuses in city from May 15

NAGPUR: After a long wait of around five months, city bus operator Vansh Nimay Infra Projects will add 60 new buses on city roads from May 15. Bharatiya Janata Party national president Nitin Gadkari will dedicate the buses in a programme to be held on May 15 at Town Hall, mayor Archana Dehankar told TOI.

Air Arabia to fly to non-metro cities

Air Arabia will fly to more smaller cities across India, the Gulf-based low-cost carrier said Monday, marking the completion of its fifth year of operations in the country.

'We have made efforts to operate to smaller, less congested airports closer to the customer base. We also operate in smaller cities offering customers to fly to their destinations directly from their home town. This has resulted in continuous growth year on year,' the airline said in a statement.

Jet Airways Konnect enhances domestic network

Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, will enhance its domestic network, with the introduction of new services, as well as the enhancement of services on existing Konnect services on certain domestic routes.

Effective March 28, 2010, Jet Airways’ Konnect service will introduce daily flights on the Kochi - Bengaluru - Ahmedabad sectors, aboard its state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Holiday special trains to Pune and Nagpur

The Western Railway will run holiday special weekly trains to Pune and Nagpur from Ahmedabad. '; writethis(jsval);//--> The trains will start from April and will continue till June end.

Train number 0150 Ahmedabad- Pune will leave Ahmedabad every Friday 14.10 hours and reach Pune the next day at 4.45 hours. In its return journey train number 0149 will leave Pune on every Thursday at 15.20 hours and arrive here at 4.00 hours the next day.
