Chilling January 2013 and wait for Summers

The new year started on a happy note with new dreams and goals. The city temperature is giving nagpurians goosebumps as it is getting colder and colder. A city known for warmest summers all over India will now be known for cold winters too. School going children find it very difficult to wake up in the morning due to dip in morning temperature.

The cold wave has forced nagpurians to wear sweaters, colorful caps and shawls. According to weather forecast the city weather will continue like this till 2nd week of February 2013. It really gets very difficult waking up in the morning because the chill induces more sleep and the alarm buzz is not audible.

Makar Sankranti will be celebrated on 14th January 2013. All festivals arriving one after another with the advent of New Year. A time to celebrate the occasion by eating Til Gur and meeting loved ones.

The sudden dip and rise in Nagpur temperature is causing children to fall ill. Moms are taking full precaution to save their child from cough and cold- a common problem during winters.

Nagpur needs some warmth as it is getting too chilly but remembering the hottest May it really feels great to face some chill now and then get baked in the month of May.
