The new year started on a happy note with new dreams and goals. The city temperature is giving nagpurians goosebumps as it is getting colder and colder. A city known for warmest summers all over India will now be known for cold winters too. School going children find it very difficult to wake up in the morning due to dip in morning temperature.
We celebrate New Year, birthdays, marriage anniversaries, Anti Tobacco Day and World Environment day. But there is a difference between new year celebration, birthday or anti tobacco day celebration. We celebrate birthdays and marriage anniversaries out of pleasure and to share our happiness and feelings. But when it comes to Anti Tobacco Day celebration or World Environment Day Celebration it is a pledge to quit smoking, adapt a healthy lifestyle and preserve our environment. We cannot celebrate these days just as any other day or for the sake of getting our names published in news papers.

It is a difficult situation when rule makers become rule breakers and do such act. Drunken driving is banned and on the new year eve those who were caught had to pay a good penalty. The rules are only for the common man not the police department, such acts of negligence shown by them shows how easily they make rules and break them to give a clean chit to what ever they are doing.

Wednesday recorded its lowest minimum temperature of the season at 11.6 Degree Celsius. The meteorological department has predicted further dip in temperature after which it will rise again.
The weather is chilling as Christmas and New Year is approaching. The buzzword is either kill the chill and move out or stay indoors and be warm.
