There were some protests at the beginning but things are fine now. According to the college principal DR Shyamala Nair dress code is introduced to combat inequality among students coming from different strata of society. There are lots of students who cannot afford costly dresses and thus they feel low due to others showing off their luxury items. According to her this common dress code is sure to improve confidence of all the students and they will concentrate more on career and studies.
Change is always good. Next time anyone wants to get admission in LAD college, Nagpur remember that you have a dress code and have to say no to all those stuffs you carried from home to wear at college.
