It is mostly the two wheeler driver who is nabbed by the traffic police and all equipment testing is done on them. I myself met with an accident at 10 PM at night two months ago on Sitabuldi square when a drunk Sumo driver smashed my car from behind while i was waiting at the traffic signal. The drunk driver could not control the sumo and dashed from behind. We all were safe but the back portion of the car was damaged. We lodged an FIR in the police station but no action was taken against the drunk driver.
Strict and stern actions needs to be taken to control cases of drunk driving or else more such cases of accidents and death will be happening in the near future till Nagpur police wakes up to totally curb drunken driving.
