Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) is starting MSC in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from the academic year 2012-2013. The entrance exam will be held on 27th May 2012. Forms can be downloaded from the website www.vnit.ac.in under the link MSC. The filled forms should be submitted before 22nd May 2012.
Candidates who have cleared Joint Admission Test (JAT) need not appear for the institutes admission test. The can directly apply for admission.
Offline All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) was conducted on 29th April 2012 and the online exam started on 7th May 2012. The exams went smoothly at Nagpur. St Vincent Palloti College of Engineering and Gurunanak group of Institutions were the colleges selected for online AIEEE exam.
Students did not find the question paper tough. There were tabs to go to Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics section. Students could scroll down and answer with ease. They were reminded of left over questions. Students opting for online exam found it as easy as the offline version of the exam.
Students who attempted questions having misprints in chemistry, Physics II and Fisheries will be given full marks. The decision came to fore front when it was found that the question carried wrong symbol in physics paper hence it was difficult for students to solve the particular question, so even if they attempted and made a mistake or even mentioned that question number on their answer sheet they will be given full marks.
