Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) is starting MSC in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from the academic year 2012-2013. The entrance exam will be held on 27th May 2012. Forms can be downloaded from the website www.vnit.ac.in under the link MSC. The filled forms should be submitted before 22nd May 2012.
Candidates who have cleared Joint Admission Test (JAT) need not appear for the institutes admission test. The can directly apply for admission.
Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) forms Eco club to keep the college and hostel premises clean. Efforts will be made to produce minimum waste. The main aim of the program was to create awareness among students about environment.
Eco club will be working on rain water harvesting, e-waste recycling and plantations in the long run. Plans are also to put up separate dustbins for biodegradable and recyclable waste in the college campus especially near hostels.
Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) in association with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan is hosting “Model United Nations Conference” from 14th to 15th January 2012. The objective of the conference is to reach young minds to find solutions to global problems.
The event will be hosted at Chemistry department of VNIT.

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur is holding yearly alumni reunion from 24th to 25th December 2011 at VNIT Auditorium.
Registration starts on 24th December 2011 at 9:30 AM. Evening Gala Entertainment starts at 6:30 PM followed by dinner at VNIT Cricket Ground.
On 25th December the program starts at 11:30 AM with breakfast and lunch at VNIT Megamess.
