Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) forms Eco club to keep the college and hostel premises clean. Efforts will be made to produce minimum waste. The main aim of the program was to create awareness among students about environment.
Eco club will be working on rain water harvesting, e-waste recycling and plantations in the long run. Plans are also to put up separate dustbins for biodegradable and recyclable waste in the college campus especially near hostels.
Alumni meet is being organized by Dharampeth Science College, Ambazari, Nagpur on Tuesday 6th February 2012 in the college campus.
