DMER (Directorate of Medical research and Health) to start sale of application form for MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technology Common Entrance Examination) from 19th March 2012 till 31st March 2012. Exam will be held on 10th May 2012.

National Eligibility cum entrance test ( NEET ) for Under Graduates has been postponed till 2013. Maharashtra and Medical Council of India agreed over common entrance test to be held in 2012 but the exam was delayed due to CM Prithviraj Chavan intervention.
According to Chavan state board students will find difficulty in clearing the exam due to difference in syllabus. He also apposed the view of exam being held only in Hindi and English, Urdu and Marathi medium students will be left out.
