Illegal religious encroachments crop up in city

After illegal encroachments by daily vendors and shopkeepers NMC (Nagpur Municipal Corporation) notices illegal religious encroachments on the rise in Nagpur city. Religious encroachments are done by nearby residents people who build a temple for worshiping.

It is easy to clear illegal shop encroachments but difficult to demolish religious encroachments as it would arouse religious sentiments and may lead to communal tension.

Clear encroachments and get parking space

In a drive to provide parking space to Nagpurians Civic chief Sanjeev Jaiswal and Police Commissioner Ankush Dhanvijay have joined hands to take action against encroachers and provide parking space to people. Most of the time parking spaces are not available due to encroachments by daily vendors. These vendors block footpaths and parking space.
