Yashvantrao chavan Pratishthan of Mumbai is organizing Jagar campaign in the city. NCP MP Supriya Sule will be conducting a session to increase awareness among city youngsters about Female Feticide and uneven sex ratio. The rally will be from Traffic Park to Vasant Rao Deshpande Hall.
Sule will be conducting an interactive session with city youngsters and will encourage them towards non selection of sex of fetus.
Traffic park will educate children and youngsters traffic norms from 1st April 2012. It is a move to teach traffic rules to children and youngsters so that they are less prone to accidents. They will be taught about traffic light, zebra crossing, yellow lines and other traffic rules.
A traffic constable will be present in the park to teach traffic rules to children. It will be learning through fun rather than just remaining an entertainment park. Power point presentations will be shown to children to create awareness among them about traffic rules in the auditorium.
Dharampeth road on which Traffic park is situated is crowded with vendors, moving traffic and parked vehicles. Nagpurians come here with family and friends to have fun out of home, pass time and have some food. The place outside the traffic park throngs several vendors ranging from panipuri, chaat, sandwhich, Dhabeli and pizzas. People come here to have fun and enjoy the food. But the problem is the busy road poses threat to passers by so the question is, should the Dharampeth road where traffic park is situated be converted in to food road on sundays ?
The Traffic park at Dharampeth is set to open Nagpur’s first 5D Theatre.
With a seating capacity of 16, the theatre has been equipped with systems like leg ticklers, back pokers and base shakers, which would give the viewer a real feeling of something crawling up the leg or moving up the back in synch with the movie. With the help of digital projection systems and ones which would provide environmental effects like artificial snowfall and smoke screens, the movies would come to life to provide a surreal viewing experience.
